Daiwa 23 Exceler LT Spinning Reel

The all new 23 EXCELER LT - Daiwa uses a carbon fiber body called ZAION V. The new version is 3%-5% lighter than previous models of EXCELER for comparable sizes. It comes with an AIRDRIVE ROTOR that is lighter, stronger and more balanced than any rotor system that came before.  This rotor mounts the AIRDRIVE BAIL that uses a solid bail wire for its rigidity and resistance to bending during normal use.  The thinner, smaller wire is also lighter, which reduces the weight of the rotation, thus reducing the weight of the reel.

It's machined aluminum handle is a comfortable, strong connection to the main gear of the spinning reel. And the retooled 23 EXCELER is extremely smooth utilizing 5 ball bearings and 1 roller bearing to maximize performance.
