This is the fishing report as of 09/19/2024. Obviously the weather is not ideal, lots of wind makes fishing a little difficult. But we still have reports to make!

Surf side has been completely unfishable for days. Still looking at rough surf into mid week next week with a minimum of 4-6ft at the lowest. Before the surf kicked it was still pretty much the norm. Spot, croaker and kings were around heavy which has been the trend. Fluke and some schoolie bass were hanging around the jetties mainly on gulp/soft plastics.

Wrecks and reefs have been a little slow, on one day and off for a few. Netters have been hitting all the areas wiping out most fish. But when its on its hot, lots of decent fluke with some seabass and tog hanging as well. Mahi started popping up fairly heavy on any floating debris, with nice growth compared to the little chickens that have been around.

Bay report has gotten a little better variety over the past week. Tog have been getting a little bigger and are extremely active which is making going for triggers and sheeps a little more difficult. Spot and croaker are still pretty heavy in the bay and hopefully will be around for the next few weeks. The biggest report has been fluke with some monster flatties making a sudden appearance. Fluke averaging 24-27 inches pushed hard into the inlet which isn't the norm. Gulp has been the ticket but with the mullet run beginning livelining them on the bottom has caught some even bigger fluke with reports of a 29 inch fluke. With the mullet moving into the ocean there has been a lot of bass and bluefish action aiding in the push.

Thanks to Matt Myers for the picture and for constantly keeping us updated on all his tog he has been catching.
